Paul Phillips.
Paul, is 50 and of British nationality. He studied law in the UK and became a solicitor. Immediately after qualifying, Paul left for France where he was employed by Renault as legal adviser in their International Department. After five years of experience in international contracts, Paul joined the law firm Herbert Smith as solicitor to the Paris Bar. In this role, he dealt with all aspects of commercial and labour law, specialising in foreign investments in France.
He was then offered the possibility of a career change and in 1996 became company secretary of a British insurance company setting up in France.
He also worked briefly for an Internet start-up from 2001 to 2002.
Paul and Philippe met in 2001 and in 2002 decided to combine their different expertise and set up the consultancy firm ST Developments.
Philippe Lefebvre
Philippe first trained as an advertising signs designer and then worked as a salesman in B to B, becoming Sales Manager in computer hard and software and then managing two profit centres in an industrial cleaning company with a staff of 200. He was then offered the position of manager of a distribution network dealing in industrial products, after which he became manager of the growth and development division of a furniture firm, which he left to set up in business with Paul
